Like sister ships ms Koningsdam and ms Nieuw Statendam, which are in the same class, this cruise ship features state-of-the-art facilities. The ms Rotterdam, is the cruise company's seventh ship to bear the Rotterdam name. The first Rotterdam braved the waves of the Atlantic Ocean for the first time as early as 15 October 1872, while the ms Rotterdam's predecessor was disposed of in 2020. Fortunately, it didn't take long to fill the void left by the previous Rotterdam ships with another cruise ship that lives up to her iconic name.

King's Blues Club to listen to good old Memphis R&B while daydreaming away to classic notes on the Lincoln Center Stage the next night. A little more Rock & Roll? Then the brand new Rolling Stone Rock Room is sure to be your thing.  Finally, the numerous shows on the World Stage are the cream of the entertainment crop, and that's thanks to the impressive two-story high LED screen that surrounds the stage! 

Explorations Central is also worth mentioning. It is a Holland America Line exclusive program that immerses you in the culture of your port of call. A unique experience where experts and local insiders come to tell their stories.

As you would expect from a Pinnacle-class cruise ship from Holland America Line, ms Rotterdam is another place where you will experience one culinary surprise after another. For lovers of succulent cuts of meat , there is the award-winning Pinnacle Grill, while fish lovers can then indulge in the renowned Rudi's Sel de Mer or the Japanese restaurant Nami Sushi. And if you don't feel like choosing from all these delicious specialty restaurants, you can still go to the dining room where you can have à la carte breakfast, lunch or dinner.
