Your time aboard a cruise ship like the Norwegian Star is not wasted time.  Norwegian Cruise Line's people and facilities will make sure of that. It is safe to say that there is something for everyone aboard this cruise ship. For example, the cruise ship has the renowned Mandara Spa with its heated indoor pool, its Jacuzzis and saunas and, of course, the Mandara Fitness Center.  It is also at the Mandara Spa that your worries and stresses are literally massaged away during massages or facials. 

For sports enthusiasts, there is a jogging track, a basketball court and a driving range in addition to fitness. Always nice to be able to tell friends and family that you worked on your handicap at sea. And from the golf swing we move seamlessly to the real swinging thanks to the many bars and nightclubs that will get you through the night and keep you in party mood until the early hours.  After all, You Only Live Once and cruising is a party!

In between all that, you can enjoy shopping in the many stores  or attend some of the shows and spectacles in the theater. The Norwegian Star features a wide variety of shows and performances to keep you entertained every night. You can watch Broadway-style musicals, comedy acts, magic shows and so much more. 

And the children? Well, Norwegian Cruise Line has thought of them too…of course.  Outside the classic pools, there is also a Kids Planet with its own pool. Teens, in turn, can go to the Teen Club or have fun in the Video Zone where the coolest games await them.

If you are not only looking for adventure at sea, but also on your plate, then we would love to welcome you on the Norwegian Star! From fancy French dishes to pub snacks to literally and figuratively licking your thumbs and fingers.  You will be amazed by the variety and quality of the dishes, prepared by talented chefs  and using daily fresh ingredients and with a touch of local specialties and flavors. For classic French dishes with a modern twist, for example, there is Le Bistro. A place that will make you dream of a romantic evening overlooking the Seine in Paris while enjoying escargots, duck leg, steak frites and crème brûlée.  At La Cucina, you'll be swept up in authentic Italian cuisine. A trip to the Mediterranean with pizza, pasta, risotto and much more, prepared with fresh herbs and, of course, olive oil. Leave some room for the tiramisu and gelato!  The Norwegian Star even has a real 24/7 Irish pub; O'Sheehan’s, where you can watch sports on the big screens in an authentic Irish setting, play pool or darts, or just chat with friends over a nice pint, a Guinness in this case.
