A world of activities and facilities

The ship has great activities and facilities in store for adventurers, thrill seekers and travelers looking for wellness and tranquility alike. There is a ropes course  with more than 40 sections, including zip lines and a plank that extends over the side of the ship. Done climbing? Then you can head to the Aqua Park with five water slides, two pools and four hot tubs.  And, if you are not out of breath by then, there is also a sports complex with a climbing wall, a bungee trampoline, a spider web-style climbing wall and a basketball court.

True to the motto “a healthy mind in a healthy body,” there are still plenty of relaxing and invigorating options aboard the Norwegian Getaway for guests looking to pamper themselves or work on their beach body.  There is a Mandara Spa that offers massages, facials, body treatments, acupuncture and extensive wellness. Includes heated loungers, saunas, steam rooms and a salt room. Finally, for those who like things a little more active, there is a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, personal trainers and fitness classes. 

A fun and unique extra is The Waterfront. Like strolling along a boulevard on the Côte d'Azur at night. A promenade of several hundred meters along the waterfront with restaurants, bars and lounges. You can stroll along the deck, enjoy the view, dine outside or have a cocktail at one of the venues, such as the Sugarcane Mojito Bar, Ocean Blue on The Waterfront, Cagney's Steakhouse on The Waterfront or La Cucina on The Waterfront.

Fun for everyone

The ship offers numerous shows and spectacles to keep you entertained late into the night during your cruise. The Getaway is like a city that never sleeps. You can watch Broadway shows such as Burn the Floor and Million Dollar Quartet; enjoy live music  at Headliners Comedy Club, Fat Cats Jazz & Blues Club or Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos; have fun at the casino; or join parties at Bliss Ultra Lounge or Spice H2O.

And fun is also the focus for children and teens, including at the Splash Academy for children aged 3 to 12, where they can play games, do crafts, watch movies and have themed parties. The Entourage, in turn, is geared toward teens aged 13 to 17, where they can hang out with their peers, play video games, watch movies and participate in social events. Both programs are supervised by professional staff.
