On board this ship, you can enjoy shows and spectacles that will surprise and entertain you every time. These include the swinging musical Swing!, which takes you back to the 1930s and 1940s with rousing dance numbers and live music.  Or be enchanted by the magical show Pure Variety, in which illusionists, acrobats and comedians perform their tricks. And why not bring out your own dancing legs and awesome moves during the Glow Party, where part of the ship transforms into a neon-lit disco. You can also watch a movie at the cinema, place a bet at the casino or visit one of the art galleries or libraries on board. In short, there is something for everyone aboard the Norwegian Gem. 

Moreover, Norwegian has not forgotten the little cruise travelers. They can have fun at the Splash Academy, a kids club where they can play, craft and learn under the guidance of professional animators. They can also participate in fun themed parties, such as pirate or superhero night.  And for the teens, there is the Entourage, a lounge where they can chill with peers, play games, dance or sing karaoke. Not to mention the sports fields such as the basketball court and tennis court, the bowling alley and the various swimming pools with their slides.
