Dubai: The Sky is the Limit

Dubai is the city that stands out above everything else. Literally and figuratively. The world's tallest building, the world's largest fountain show, a one-of-a-kind 7-star hotel, artificially raised islands in the shape of palm trees  and the largest shopping mall on this earth.  Perhaps on Mars they have an even bigger shopping mall.  Even after a few days, you won't be done shopping and seeing the sights. Relax on the lovely beaches , order cool drinks at the beach club  and sample Arabic culinary delights such as Kunafa. Stroll the impressive streets filled with skyscrapers  while keeping in mind the cultural differences when it comes to your choice of clothing.  A cruise to Dubai gives you an excellent view of the destination. 

Cruising past Abu Dhabi

The capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, is a unique city to add to your cruise itinerary. Both a mini-cruise and a world cruise will take you to this rich city. Every fan of Formula 1 knows Abu Dhabi from the Formula One Circuit.  In addition to this sporting attraction, the city exudes luxury, beauty and pearls.  Visit one of the most beautiful hotspots: Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Either choose to take a look inside or admire the building from the outside. Have fun with the whole family at YAS Island. An extensive theme park with a Ferrari world, a water park and your superhero  Warner Bros. 

Traditional and unknown destinations in the Emirates

Besides the two major and well-known cities, the ships also sail past some less obvious destinations.  You may choose to cruise past Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, Muscat and/or Oman. Get to know the local cultures through organized city walks and bike tours , browse the many markets and dive into the waters off Bahrain for manatee spotting.  Opting for a longer cruise? Then a cruise through the Suez Canal is also an option!  This canal separates the continents of Asia and Africa and allows you to combine a cruise through the Emirates with the Mediterranean Sea.
