The different activities on the Ruby Princess

Ruby Princess is a very child-friendly and family-friendly ship. There are all kinds of kids' clubs for different age and there is babysitting service after 22:00. The activities are very varied: crafts, reading aloud talent shows , Lego competitions, sports activities, gaming and movie nights. So you can definitely have a date night on a cruise! The ship has 3 swimming pools, great for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip during your Canary Islands cruise. Or did you choose an Iceland cruise and want to warm up? Then head to the Lotus Spa for its saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs.  For men, there is a special Time for Men program and a Barber on Board. You can work on your wellness even more at the fitness center. You can do your own thing with strength training and cardio here, but there are also group classes. These include cycling, Pilates, yoga and Body Sculpt Boot Camp. If you forgot to pack something or want to buy souvenirs for the people back home (or yourself ), Deck 6 is the place to be. Here, they sell all sorts of things at a high discount. 

Restaurants, pubs and the Grill

Michelangelo, Botticelli and Da Vinci Dining Rooms are the three main restaurants on board. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Walk past all kinds of buffets in the Horizon Court and put together your own meal. Before you know it, you’ll find yourself at the table with curry, burgers  and pasta carbonara. Perfect if you can't choose! For an easy poolside lunch, The Salty Dog Grill is the place to be. Can you see yourself snacking in the sun while cruising the Caribbean from your taco, sandwich or loaded fries? Or will you head to Slice Pizzeria for glacier pizza during your Alaskan cruise? For sweet cravings or a coffee, Coffee & Cones  is the perfect place. Of course, there are also specialty restaurants on board the Ruby. Chef's Table is the most exclusive of these, serving a surprise menu with wine pairing, great for the true connoisseurs! The Salty Dog Grill also has a more luxurious version; The Salty Dog Gastropub. This is a hip 'pub' with live music, so a fun evening is guaranteed! Two classics of the Princess Cruises shipping line are Crown Grill  and Sabatini's Italian trattoria, so of course they cannot be missing on this ship either. 

High-quality evening entertainment

The sun is setting and it is time for a party. At Club Fusion and Nightclub Skywalkers, they know how to get it going. Club Fusion often hosts themed parties  where you can show off your dancing skills and karaoke nights where you can demonstrate your singing skills. At Skywalkers, you can go wild to club music with a cocktail in your hand. Experience a fun evening in the main theater where the cast performs a fantastic Broadway-style musical. The stories, costumes and music  will have everyone swinging and singing along. There are as many as eight different bars, all with their own theme. For instance, there is Vines, a wine bar  with a selection of special wines. If you order such a wine, you get free tapas with it. But there is also the Speakeasy Cigar Lounge. Or the Wheelhouse Bar where board games and cards are played while enjoying live music.
