Every detail was thought of and the workmanship is top of the bill. 

Not only are the cabins a piece of art in themselves, but you'll also find an actual gallery of artwork. From 19th-century paintings to the finest photo collages by contemporary photographers.  Like walking through a museum! Speaking of art… the Culinary Arts Center can safely be placed in the same category. No art on canvas this time, but art on your plate. After all, the Culinary Arts Center is where you can participate in cooking classes under the guidance of top-level chefs or watch the chefs themselves at work with local ingredients during one of the many cooking demonstrations. To live is a favor, to know is an art! 

Brace yourself for splashy spectacles

Aboard the Noordam, the crew makes every effort to have you experience one amazement after another. The World Stage theater plays a very important role in this. Among other things, this open space with a two-story LED screen is where you can enjoy the spectacular BBC on Earth concert.  Fragments of the most beautiful places on earth flash by, while in the background, compelling music takes you on your personal journey around the world.

Combine the aforementioned art and spectacle and you get a perfect picture of what to expect in the restaurants aboard the Noordam. “Only the best is good enough” is a motto they hold dear at Holland America Line. Therefore, what you are served in the magnificent buffet restaurant and in the various specialty restaurants is the result of a close collaboration between the cruise company and 6 star chefs  who are constantly looking for innovative dishes to serve on the Noordam.
