On board the Sapphire, your knowledge and skills will get a big boost. The Scholarship@Sea program offers interesting lectures, drawing classes and photography courses, among other things. Your sense of competitiveness is also fueled on board. There are regular trivia competitions and sports tournaments of football 
, basketball, golf and table tennis. On the Sapphire you can relax at the Lotus Spa, and Princess Cruises also has a fun (and tasty) concept; the Chocolate Journey. This journey is reflected in all sorts of things. For instance, the body and facial treatments involve chocolate 
and there are even cocktails with chocolate in them, but the most delicious are the Chocolate Journey desserts.
Evening programs on the Sapphire Princess
On board, there is music everywhere (except in your cabin if you want to sleep, don't worry 
). Live music is available at the Piazza, the Wheelhouse Bar, the Crooners Lounge and the Explorer's Lounge. There is also plenty of karaoke on the ship. And it begins as soon as at the Welcome Aboard Karaoke at nightclub Club Fusion. The Grand Casino is a mix between the best of Asia and Vegas. The ship is also family-proof, so a cruise holiday with the family is also possible. There is a program for children and teenagers from 3 years to 17 years and a babysitting service. So you can easily indulge in an evening of wine tasting at special wine bar Vines, where you get free tapas with your wines. Or you can join the movie night under the stars at 'Movies Under the Stars', cozy with blankets and popcorn. 
Gastronomic delights
Of course, with a big ship comes lots of dining options, which is why the Sapphire does not have one main restaurant, but actually 5; Savoy, Vivaldi, Pacific Moon, Santa Fe and The International. The menu is the same in these restaurants, think grilled salmon, marinated chicken 🍗 and burgers (the Princess Favorites). But it doesn't stop there, as there are as many as 12 different types of restaurants on board. For instance, there are 3 types of Italian restaurants; Alfredo's Pizzeria, Prego and Sabatini's. Think delicious antipasti, pastas and desserts. For a seafood spectacle, Crab Shack is the place to be. Put on a bib and the fun can begin: choose from king crab, lobster or prawns, for example. Stop by Sterling Steakhouse for a good piece of meat. It is made entirely to your taste and there are all kinds of side dishes such as garlic and herb fries.
